Helmets are everywhere in Karachi!!

How are you all, lovely readers.
Yes I have been getting lots of messages regarding my update on beauty blog; of course I have not abandoned it at all. LOL
Also the last part of the Weight loss series (exercise+diet+tips) will be updated soon so follow the steps before that, promptly. Do send in your feedback and I might think to put some on my blog :)

So today's post is something interesting and different I presume for many of my readers. I live in Karachi and over here, people are not very fond of wearing helmets while riding a bike. And now, people have been introduced to a rule on wearing helmets at all costs. The main  reason for this rule is because, well, the government asked us to. And if people dare to not obey will be fined regularly.

Tragically, I was viewing news with my mom yesterday about public review regarding this government imposition and many were appreciating this act. At least, I am happy to see the acceptance people have and yes it is for their own sake. Later, I had seen a dude commenting that this rule would make women as laughing stock. Ironic to see that people like such exist in society who close their minds to new ways of life. I think many people like him, possessing eastern mentality would be thinking twice before taking their families out.

One little demand from the government is surely to introduce some kind of ladies range of helmets for women in Karachi so they may feel comfortable. The conventional helmets available are quite heavy for females to wear as they are driver's helmet range.

Here are some of the ideas though,

And I find some of these helmet ideas to be rather cheap for the domestic ladies. These ranges are from PKR 300 TO PKR 1500 or more depending upon the customization.

Ladies wearing helmets? Does style need to be compromised?
